Take out and prepare tools every morning as well as clean up and put them away in an organized manner every evening. Works directly with the loader operator to string and prepare pipe as well as safely strap and unstrap pipe. Work directly with the pipe layer and tail person by bringing necessary tools, safety equipment, etc. to the ditch as needed. Assist with backfill with suitable, compactable in required lifts.
