We are seeking an experienced pipelayer to join our team. Projects are primarily located in Miami-Dade and Broward County. Duties will include but are not limited to: Understand trench safety requirements, soil types and use of protective systems Regularly use a shovel, digging iron, cut-off saw and tamper Maintain depth by checking the laser beam or grade stakes and communicating with the operator Communicate with the operator about the alignment of the pipe by using hand signals to ensure the proper depth Set concrete structures (inlets, sanitary manholes, drainage manholes etc.) Direct the Pipe Laborer on what tools are needed in the trench, the length of the pipe, and how to cut the pipe Assist with hoisting loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment. Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman.
