In this vital role, you will be responsible for laying and installing underground pipe essential for infrastructure projects; including water, sewer, and utility systems. Your expertise in utility pipe installation will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites in the Tampa area, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to contribute to critical infrastructure projects. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately install pipe according to specifications. Install pipes using proper techniques as required for each project. Manage pipe laser alignment tools for accurate placement of pipes during installation. Conduct plumbing and utility connections, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to the installation process. Assist in pipeline testing and inspection procedures to verify integrity before backfilling or covering trenches. Qualifications Strong knowledge of pipe installation techniques for underground utilities Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings related to pipeline projects. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Experience working with utility projects is highly desirable. Five years minimum. Construction site experience with a focus on pipeline or utility installation is preferred.
