Pipefitter/Welder

Job Overview We are seeking Pipefitters, Pipe Welders, or Combo to join a large-scale exciting project. This role involves assembling and installing piping systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry codes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in welding techniques and/or pipe fitting, and blueprint reading, contributing to the successful execution of complex piping installations. This position offers an opportunity to work on a diverse project that requires precision and mechanical knowledge.

Hours:

4 10s and one 8 hour day Pipefitter Duties All steel pipes working anywhere from 1 1/2 inch to 18 inch Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes to required specifications Assemble and install pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures Inspect and test piping systems for leaks or defects Repair or replace damaged pipes and components Use tools such as pipe cutters, welding equipment, and threading machines Follow safety regulations and building codes Work with other trades (welders, plumbers, engineers) on projects Pipe Welder Duties Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications Cut, fit, and weld metal pipes and pipe components Inspect welds to ensure strength, accuracy, and code compliance Prepare materials by cleaning, grinding, and beveling pipe surfaces Operate welding tools, torches, grinders, and cutting equipment Repair defective welds Follow OSHA and workplace safety procedures Work closely with pipefitters, fabricators, and supervisors Experience/Requirements Junior or Senior-level candidates are encouraged to apply! Must have basic hand tools - Welders should bring their own hood A badging process is required Must have reliable transportation

Pay:

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
