Full-time Duties Include:

Installs and repairs water, reclaimed water, telephone, gas, sewer, and drainage systems. Signals operators of equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications. Positions, aligns, joins, wraps, and seals sections of pipe and fittings in trench. Checking slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers. Tapping and drilling holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices. Performs variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools, such as mounting pipe hangers, sawing iron, steel, concrete, and plastic pipes using gas and/or hydraulic pipe saw and compacting backfill using mechanical compactor. Covering pipes with earth or other materials. Performs other variety of non-routine tasks, some involving machines or trucks, as directed by a supervisor.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Including cleaning, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, or shoveling to accomplish tasks. Must have experience with hand tools and power tools. Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment.
