You will play a vital role in ensuring the operational integrity of critical infrastructure by applying expert fabrication and diagnostic skills to every project. Responsibilities Execute the installation, assembly, and repair of industrial piping systems, ensuring all work aligns with rigorous design specifications. Interpret complex technical blueprints and schematics to determine accurate routing and placement of piping components. Perform high-quality welding and fabrication using TIG, MIG, and stick methods to meet structural requirements. Conduct comprehensive hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing to verify system integrity and prevent potential failures. Select and install appropriate valves, fittings, and gaskets to optimize system performance and flow. Secure piping networks using specialized hangers and supports to ensure long-term stability and stress reduction. Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, including corrosion or flow disruptions, to minimize operational downtime. Collaborate with engineering teams and other trades to ensure seamless project integration and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in industrial pipefitting and system fabrication. Advanced proficiency in reading 2D technical drawings and piping specifications. Strong working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and OSHA safety standards. Demonstrated ability to use pipe threaders, cutters, and precision bending tools. Mathematical aptitude in geometry and trigonometry for accurate layout and measurement. Preferred Skills Certification in specialized welding techniques. Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians in piping best practices. Familiarity with hazardous material handling and environmental compliance procedures. Background in semiconductor or high-purity piping environments.
