Job Description

Idaho Site Works is a statewide provider of comprehensive construction services in earthwork, wet utility, commercial and civil works in Nampa, ID Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pipe Layer in the Commercial Heavy Civil Construction sector! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing underground pipelines essential for infrastructure projects such as water, sewer, storm drain, and utility systems. Your expertise will help ensure the successful completion of large-scale construction projects, contributing to community development and modernization. Duties Sewer and Water Piping Set up and run pipe laser Able to read and understand project plans and specifications Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to assist with pipe installation and site preparation. Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and utility maps to accurately lay out pipeline routes. Use pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation of pipelines. Perform trenching, backfilling, compaction, and concrete finishing tasks related to pipeline installation projects. Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before excavation begins, ensuring safety and compliance. Assist with concrete forming and welding tasks as needed for pipeline supports or related structures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and inspecting equipment regularly. Qualifications
MUST HAVE 2
(Two) years' experience in utilities industry for heavy civil, commercial, residential, and multifamily projects. Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks on construction sites. Strong knowledge of pipeline installation processes including trenching, pipe laser alignment, concrete finishing, and plumbing systems. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings related to heavy civil construction projects. Experience with utility locating tools and techniques to identify underground utilities safely. Skilled in welding and concrete forming is a plus but not mandatory.
