Pipefitter/Skilled Laborer Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pipefitter/Skilled Laborer to join our team in the Indianapolis metro area. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for pipe installation, mechanical work, and general labor tasks. Pipefitters must be willing to take on skilled laborer duties as needed, and skilled laborers should have basic pipefitting knowledge. Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install piping materials according to blueprints. Work in various environments, including lifts, ladders, and trenches. Assemble and install piping systems efficiently and safely. Perform mechanical tasks such as grinding, cutting, and threading pipes. Operate power tools and hand tools with accuracy and care.
Requirements:
Proven experience in pipefitting, fabrication, or a related field. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction and safety principles. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Physical strength and stamina to handle manual labor tasks.
