Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Pipe Layer and be at the forefront of laying the backbone of essential infrastructure. In this role, you will expertly install underground pipelines for utilities such as water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer, ensuring precise placement and secure connections. Your expertise will help build safe, reliable systems that serve communities and industries alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and contribute to large-scale projects that make a real impact. Duties Read and interpret construction blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to accurately conduct utility installation from the layout process all the way through testing. Install pipelines using pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation. Perform concrete finishing tasks around pipeline installations and assist with concrete forming when needed. Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before excavation begins, preventing damage or accidents. Assist in general labor tasks when needed. Requirements Proven experience installing underground utility systems such as water, sanitary, and storm sewer. Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for pipeline layouts, GPS experience is a plus. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and utility locating techniques. Familiarity with pipe laser technology for precise alignment during installation. Construction site experience working on pipeline or utility projects is highly preferred.
