A Pipe Fitter installs and repairs pipe systems in commercial or industrial and manufacturing structures, such as pipes for heating and cooling systems. Works on pipes that carry gas, sprinkler systems, or pipes that carry steam under pressure.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret drawings/design change procedures to install piping systems Install, modify, and/or repair piping systems, pipe hangers, and supports Use power and hand tools including, but not limited to, small machine tools, grinders, drills, and hand tools required for metal fabrication. Ability to prep piping for welding, know/perform different types of bevels, and post weld ISI prep. Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
3 years minimum of industrial pipe fitting experience, nuclear experience a plus Ability to pass basic written and hands on pipefitter test at home office Ability to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers. Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team. Must have reliable transportation, be able to travel extensively, and work variable hours. TWIC card a plus.
