AFSCME Custodian Salary Schedule Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tools Knowledge of HVAC systems highly preferred Ability to read and understand technical manuals Current authorization to work in the U.S. Valid Driver's License (Favorable driving record, CORi/SORi and fingerprinting results)

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting in all duties related to the upkeep of school facilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Obtaining a MA 7D license (District paid) Ability to safely and confidently work with moving machinery Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols Must be able to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, lifting up to 50lbs, squatting, crawling at least 50% of the shift, and standing 75% of shift (Based on 8-10 hour shift) Ability to safety and confidently work around moving machinery so as to avoid accidents to yourself and others Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols. Must be able to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, squatting, and crawling at least 50% of shift. Requires 75% of shift (Based on 8-10 hour shift)
