Job Description
About the Role As an Industrial Piping Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of our large-scale production facility. You will leverage your expertise in pipefitting and plumbing to ensure all mechanical systems function at peak efficiency, directly supporting our high-volume manufacturing output. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex issues within facility piping networks, including steam boilers, compressed air systems, and industrial irrigation. Execute precise installation, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on diverse piping materials such as stainless steel, copper, iron, and PVC. Apply advanced joining techniques including sanitary welding, soldering, and ProPress applications to maintain system standards. Manage the upkeep of critical infrastructure, including boiler and refrigeration units, to ensure continuous plant performance. Maintain rigorous compliance with food safety and facility sanitation protocols through meticulous documentation and system monitoring. Procure necessary components and materials by interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and engineering prints. Required Skills Active Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License. Proven proficiency in pipe threading, fitting, and industrial plumbing repair. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in pneumatic systems and pump theory. Ability to perform gas and arc welding to industry standards. Preferred Skills Certification in sanitary welding. EPA Universal certification for refrigeration systems. Experience working within a regulated food or beverage manufacturing environment.
