•$40.00 per hour Minimum 30 hours guaranteed per week Full-time, permanent roles PPE and tools provided where required Opportunity to work on commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects Extrastaff, a Labour Hire Company, is hiring full-time Aluminum Fabricators to support project work throughout New Zealand. You will work on various construction and fabrication sites, with site location based on project demand. This role is ideal for experienced fabricators who are open to relocating or traveling as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate, assemble, and install aluminum components and structures Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints Operate hand and power tools relevant to aluminum fabrication Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards Work across different sites as required by project deployment

Skills and Experience Required:

2 years work experience in aluminum fabrication or relevant role Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Skilled in welding, cutting, and shaping aluminum materials Trade qualification or NZQA-recognised experience preferred Ability to work independently and travel between job sites Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Although this role is listed in Canterbury, we are recruiting for positions to be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements.
