This vital role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry codes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge, proficiency with a wide range of tools and welding techniques, and the ability to interpret complex schematics and blueprints. As a key contributor to our projects, you will help deliver reliable plumbing and piping solutions that meet rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and repair piping systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Perform welding operations including
MIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG, welding to join pipes securely. Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation processes. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to prepare materials for assembly. Conduct pipe bending, soldering, rigging, and tube fabrication tasks as required for various projects. Maintain compliance with ASME codes & standards during fabrication and installation activities. Perform routine maintenance on piping systems to ensure optimal operation. Collaborate with team members on construction sites or manufacturing facilities to execute projects efficiently. Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work. Follow safety protocols related to fire sprinkler fitting, HVAC systems, pipeline installation, and general construction practices. Requirements Valid license as a Pipefitter/Plumber with proven experience in construction or manufacturing environments. Extensive knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG, and welding. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards applicable to piping and pressure vessels. Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities involving pipeline or plumbing installation. Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting systems and HVAC piping is desirable. Ability to perform tube bending, soldering, rigging, and assembly tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for measurements and layout work are essential. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a safety-conscious approach.
