Tunnel / Pipe Layer Laborer A-Plus Contracting Baltimore, MD Job Details Full-time $30 - $33 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work OSHA 10 Driver's License Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking dependable and hardworking Tunnel / Pipe Layer Laborers to join our growing team in Baltimore, MD. This position involves assisting with underground utility installation, pipe laying, excavation, and tunnel construction activities. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and eager to work in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of water, sewer, storm drain, and underground utility systems. Help place, align, and connect pipe sections according to project specifications. Support excavation, trenching, and backfilling operations. Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment around the job site. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Follow trench safety and confined space procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist Pipe Layers, Equipment Operators, and Foremen as directed. Comply with all company and OSHA safety requirements. Perform other construction labor duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in construction, utility work, excavation, pipe laying, or tunnel projects preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to work in trenches, underground utility environments, and confined spaces when required. Reliable transportation to job sites. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn. Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with underground utility installation. Knowledge of trench safety practices. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Valid Driver's License.
Pay:
$30.00 - $33.00 per hour
