Pipe Layer - Underground Utilities

What You'll Do:

Install pipe systems:

Water:

C-900,

Ductile Iron Sewer:

DIP, SDR-35, PVC

Sch 40

Storm:

RCP, HDPE

Set line and grade using lasers Read plans and cut sheets Dig trenches, backfill, and compact to grade Lay, align, and connect pipe (PVC and ductile iron) Install restraints, manholes, and fittings Perform taps, drills, and pipe repairs Work in trench boxes and use shoring systems Signal equipment operators and support crew as needed

What You Need:

Proven pipe laying experience (DIP, PVC, PE) Experience passing hydro tests Ability to set up and use lasers Solid understanding of trench safety and shoring Ability to read construction plans

Work Requirements:

Pay:

$26.92 - $32.43 per hour
