- Pipefitter / Boiler Repair Full Time 260 days/8 hrs/day
Location:
District-Wide Duties:
Repair and maintain all steam and hydronics systems. Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to service calls. Maintain truck inventory and department tools. Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Buildings & Grounds, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Lead, or designee.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years' experience in plumbing, hydronics, and building maintenance repair or apprentice plumber. Requires valid Class "D" Minnesota Driver's License. Ability to read, understand and follow architectural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and schematic drawings and blueprints. Ability to understand and observe oral and written instructions. Working knowledge of computers and computer programs used in the assigned area. Ability to maintain records and prepare reports. Motivated self-starter; well-organized and efficient; ability to work with minimum supervision and direction. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Ability to perform position responsibilities, including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building/on site.
Preferred Qualifications:

Rate of Pay:
Base Pay is $37.70/hour. (Additional $2.50 or $5.00 stipend available with proper professional maintenance license) View additional terms and benefits here.
