This role works closely with the Foreman and drill crew to keep pipe operations organized and on schedule while maintain the quality of each fusion. The Fuser also helps with equipment, setup, and other field work as needed. Responsibilities Perform pipe fusion according to project specifications and manufacturer requirements. Set up, operate, and maintain pipe fusion equipment. Prepare, clean, face, align, and inspect pipe for fusion. Monitor fusion temperatures, pressures, timing, and other required parameters. Work closely with the Foreman and drill crew to coordinate pipe preparation and pullback operations. Maintain fusion records and documentation as required. Conduct equipment inspections and assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Handle and stage pipe and equipment. Assist the crew with setup, cleanup, and other field work as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Qualifications Previous pipe fusion experience preferred. Ability to follow project specifications and fusion procedures. Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of an HDD crew. CDL License preferred. Ability to travel. Per diem and lodging provided. Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to take ownership of the work being performed. Compensation $24 - $31 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
