Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Plumbing and Pipefitting professionals. Our Plumbers and Pipefitters are responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing piping systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Individuals in these roles work closely with project managers and other trades to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. Our Plumbers works under Plumbers Local 34 , and our pipefitters work under Pipefitters Local 455 .Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings Install, maintain, and repair high- and low-pressure steam systems Install and service process piping systems Install and maintain hot water heating systems used in industrial and commercial settings Read and interpret building plans and specifications Compile and organize material lists for projects Coordinate work with project managers and other trades Collaborate with peers within the plumbing and pipefitting trades Ensure work is completed safely and meets quality standards Additional duties as assignedQualifications :
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and building plans Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Effective communication with project managers, coworkers, and other trades Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures Physical ability to perform trade-related work No fear of heights Lift 50+ lbs Sit, stand, and climb stairsPhysical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be able to use hands, will talk and hear. The employee is also required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
