As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing piping systems used in various industrial, commercial boiler rooms . Your expertise will ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of piping infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and allow you to showcase your craftsmanship. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results that meet industry standards and client expectations. Hours vary according to job. Some jobs require stays out of town. Valid driver's license and clean driving record a must. Duties Read and interpret piping diagrams to accurately assemble piping systems according to specifications Cut, thread, bend, solder, and weld pipes using various methods including MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and welding techniques Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and rigging equipment to manipulate pipes for proper fitment and alignment Perform pipe threading and tube bending tasks while adhering to ASME codes & standards for safety and quality assurance Conduct repairs on existing piping infrastructure to prevent leaks or failures Follow safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities while working with complex pipe assemblies Measure accurately using basic math skills to ensure precise cuts and fittings in accordance with project plans Skills Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, fire sprinkler fitting, HVAC piping installation, and welding techniques Ability to read piping diagrams, and technical drawings a plus Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, soldering, tube bending, assembly processes, and plumbing systems Experience working with hand tools, power tools, calipers, rigging equipment, and other construction or manufacturing tools Knowledge of ASME codes & standards a plus Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and fitting specifications accurately Understanding of schematics related to HVAC systems or pipeline layouts for effective installation or repairs Skills in troubleshooting piping issues using technical documentation or schematics effectively

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
