In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing septic systems that ensure efficient waste management for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Your expertise will help deliver reliable sanitation solutions, contributing to community health and environmental sustainability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and construction materials while honing your skills in septic system installation. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and prepare sites for septic system installation Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical drawings to accurately install septic components and pipelines Install septic systems including tanks, drain fields, pumps, alarms to meet DEQ / County specifications. Install sewer and cisterns as designed. Use pipe lasers and utility locating tools to ensure precise alignment of pipelines and avoid underground utilities during excavation Conduct pipeline installation, plumbing connections, and ensure proper sealing of all system components Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout each project phase Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks in construction or utility projects Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, pipeline installation techniques Familiarity with utility locating tools and pipe laser technology for accurate trenching and alignment Experience with septic system installation including tank placement, pipe connections, and concrete finishing Knowledge of construction site safety standards and procedures related to oil & gas or utility infrastructure projects is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks Construction site experience with a focus on plumbing or septic systems is highly desirable Join us in building essential infrastructure that improves communities!
