In this role you will perform a variety of tasks to support the Pipe Department. You will work alongside skilled trades employees and have the opportunity to gain industry experience and grow your career path.

Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Assist other trade employees in the Pipe Department as directed (e.g. Pipe welders, Pipe fitters, Plumbers, etc.) Handle and organize material Clean and maintain work areas, materials, and tools by removing debris and trash Use power tools (e.g. grinder, drill, impact wrench, etc.) Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies Work in a fast-paced team environment
Education Requirements/Qualifications:
Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required Minimum of a high school education or equivalent At least 6 months experience in a manufacturing or construction environment Speaking and reading proficiency in either English or Spanish is required Previous pipefitting or plumbing experience preferred
Job Requirements/Special Skills:
Ability to read a tape measure required Ability to read blueprints preferred Ability to work independently and on a team Strong verbal communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shift Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels Ability to perform work at heights utilizing ladders and lifts
