Job Description

Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Pipefitter with a minimum of 3 years of commercial or industrial piping experience to join our team in Durham, NH. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-diameter piping (6" and larger) and possess the skills necessary to measure, fabricate, install, and prepare piping systems for welding and mechanical couplings. Candidates must be safety-focused, dependable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Location:
Durham, NH Pay Rate:
$35.00-$45.00 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, and fit large-diameter piping systems (6" and larger) according to project specifications and blueprints. Measure, grade, mark, and cut pipe accurately using hand and power tools. Hoist, position, align, and secure piping using proper rigging and lifting equipment. Bevel and prepare pipe ends for welding using appropriate tools and equipment. Groove pipe for mechanical couplings to manufacturer specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping layouts. Verify pipe dimensions and ensure proper alignment before welding or final installation. Inspect materials and completed work for quality and compliance with project standards. Follow OSHA regulations and always company safety procedures.
Qualifications:
• Must have OSHA 10 Certification Minimum 3 years of Pipefitter experience , preferably in commercial, industrial, or mechanical construction. Proven experience working with 6-inch and larger diameter piping . Equal Employer Opportunity SWNE1 #construction
