Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Pipefitter who will participate in the planning and installation of pipe for water and wastewater treatment plants, both above ground and underground. The pipefitter will work collaboratively with other craft workers to deliver a quality product in an efficient and timely manner. Integrated Water Services (IWS) is revolutionizing water! Join us in building a better future, one water drop at a time. The Pipefitter must be able to travel to the job site at Santa Domingo Pueblo, NM 87052. Responsibilities Work in trenches, vaults, and above ground to assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to manufacturer and plan specifications. Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps and tools. Measure, mark, and cut or thread pipe. Plan pipe system layout and installation according to plans, specifications, and approved pipe drawings. Cut and bore holes in structures such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains prior to pipe installation. Perform work safely by being aware of surroundings, other work being performed, and other workers on the job site. Assist other workers as needed. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years' construction experience. 2+ years of mechanical piping and pipeline experience with water/wastewater treatment required. Knowledge of general construction safety and trench safety guidelines. Experience working with various pipe types including cast iron, PVC, and steel. General understanding of construction means and methods. General math abilities.
