- Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jetting Technician to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating powerful equipment such as eels and be able to hydro-jet by blasting high-pressure water through pipes, clearing stubborn blockages like grease, roots, and debris, requiring skills in using specialized nozzles, diagnosing issues, maintaining equipment and ensuring safety to restore proper drain flow for residential and commercial clients. Duties Operate jetting machinery safely and efficiently to clear blockages and perform maintenance on sewer lines, pipes, and other plumbing infrastructure Inspect pipelines using schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to identify issues and plan effective cleaning strategies Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to repair or modify piping systems as needed Conduct routine maintenance on jetting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist with construction site activities including plumbing installation, remodeling projects, and assembly tasks Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to execute precise work according to project specifications Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for equipment setup, pipe handling, and site cleanup while adhering to safety standards Skills Minimum 5 years experience Strong construction background with experience in plumbing, carpentry, or remodeling projects Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, HVAC components, and schematics reading Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, welding, and assembly processes Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery used in construction environments Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and teamwork Strong attention to detail and precision in work Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; Must be able to push, pull, and manipulate heavier items when using proper tools and/or additional manpower.
