Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 126040 Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join a growing industrial fabrication team in Claremore. This position is responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used in industrial, commercial, and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate has strong pipe layout and fit-up experience, can interpret fabrication drawings, and is committed to producing quality work safely and efficiently. Required Experience & Skills Previous pipe fitting experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping specifications Knowledge of pipe systems, fittings, valves, and related components Experience using measuring tools, layout equipment, and fabrication tools Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Essential Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping specifications Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipe according to project requirements Install and fit carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, and other piping systems Lay out piping systems and determine material requirements Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and pipe-fitting equipment Fit and align pipes, valves, pumps, and related equipment Perform pipe modifications and repairs as needed Assist welders with fit-up and preparation of pipe assemblies Conduct pressure testing and inspections to verify system integrity Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and applicable industry standards Preferred Qualifications Experience in industrial, refinery, manufacturing, or commercial construction environments Welding or tack welding experience is a plus NCCER Pipe Fitter Certification preferred OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand and perform physically demanding work for extended periods Work Environment Industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility with field installation opportunities Exposure to piping systems, fabrication equipment, industrial machinery, and construction environments Fast-paced, safety-focused workplace emphasizing quality craftsmanship and teamwork Overtime opportunities may be available based on project schedules Why You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay based on experience Stable first-shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to work on a variety of industrial piping systems and fabrication projects Supportive team environment with opportunities for continued training and career advancement Ready to Apply?
