Poteau, OK area
Travel:
Up to a 60-mile radius from Poteau as job sites require (Beggs, OK)
Pay:
Starting at $16.00/hour and up , based on experience We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our underground utility construction team. Whether you have experience or are looking to grow in the construction industry, we want reliable team members with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. Job Duties (including but not limited to): Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas. Grease equipment and refill fuel and other necessary fluids. Load, unload, and properly secure equipment and materials on trailers. Hand-dig to locate underground utilities that have been marked through OKIE. Install, lay, align, and stab pipe in trenches. Properly bed pipe for safe and accurate installation. Install valves, fittings, hydrants, and other utility materials. Pressure test installed pipe to ensure there are no leaks. Assist with backfilling, raking, grading, and site cleanup. Seed and fertilize construction rights-of-way (ROW). Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Report to work on time, ready to work each day. Maintain good personal hygiene and a professional attitude. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Construction, underground utility, pipeline, or heavy equipment experience Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending, lifting, kneeling, and standing. Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
