Oiler - Swing Shift (12:00 PM - 9:00 PM) Collins Pine Company (Collins) 25.15 United States, Oregon, Lakeview 1600 Missouri Avenue (Show on map) Jul 20, 2026 Description Founded in 1855, Collins is family-owned and produces softwood and hardwood products at their facilities in Chester, California, Lakeview, Oregon and Kane, Pennsylvania. In Chester, Collins also has the Builders Supply retail hardware and building materials store. Collins is highly respected for their sustainable forest management, practiced across their 370,000 acres of FSC-certified lands in California, Oregon, and Pennsylvania.
Position Summary:
The Oiler performs the lubrication of all facility equipment in the sawmill, planer mill, dry kilns, boiler, and residual systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards. Grease and/or oil all bearings, chains, gear boxes, etc. as required. Ensure hydraulic systems and drip oilers are full and cooling fans are clean. Record and report issues or worn equipment. Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. Support in general maintenance doing repairs and hot work. Perform additional duties as required by supervisor. On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities.
Position Requirements:
Must meet position requirements to be considered a candidate for this position. Must be over the age of eighteen (18). Basic knowledge and understanding of industrial equipment. Ability to follow all company, state and federal safety rules when performing required job duties. Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history check and a pre-employment drug screening.
Environmental Conditions:
May be exposed to dust, noise, trip hazards, and variable temperatures and weather conditions.
Required Personal Protective Equipment:
Individuals must be willing to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Positions may require additional PPE at specific times.
