A High Dusting Lift Operator performs specialized overhead cleaning. They safely operate scissor and boom lifts to clean ceilings, HVAC vents, beams, and piping in high-clearance areas. This role requires strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols, equipment inspections, and managing fall protection while working at elevated heights (30 plus feet).

Core Responsibilities:

Lift Operation:

Safely maneuver, position, and operate scissor lifts and articulating/telescoping boom lifts to access hard-to-reach elevated surfaces.

High Dusting Tasks:

Clean, vacuum, and dust overhead infrastructure, including I-beams, ductwork, conduit, light fixtures, and ceiling trusses using extension poles, HEPA vacuums, and specialized cleaning agents.

Equipment Inspections:

Conduct mandatory pre-shift inspections on all lift equipment (e.g., checking fluid levels, tires, batteries, and emergency alarms) and report malfunctions immediately.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to strict safety standards, including maintaining tie-off points, wearing fall-protection harnesses, and setting up barricades on the ground to warn pedestrians and floor workers.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate daily cleaning logs, equipment checklists, and hazard assessments.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

Work at

Heights:

Must be comfortable operating and performing physical work on lifting platforms at heights ranging from 15 to 40+ feet.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, reach overhead, bend, and repetitively lift 30 lbs.

PPE Protocol:

Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, fall-arrest harnesses, and respiratory protection (e.g., N95 masks).

Environmental Conditions:

Must be capable of working in environments with varying temperatures, loud noises, and airborne dust. We currently have full-time positions available in Madras; must be able to work weekends.
