Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Pipe Layer, where you'll play a vital role in installing and maintaining underground pipelines essential for utility, water, gas, and oil & gas projects. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing heavy equipment and precision techniques to ensure safe, efficient pipeline installations. Your expertise will contribute directly to infrastructure development and community growth, making a tangible impact every day. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and prepare sites for pipeline installation Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately lay out pipeline routes Use pipe lasers and other precision tools to align pipes correctly during installation Perform concrete finishing and concrete forming tasks as needed for supporting structures or trench stabilization Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities and prevent damage during excavation Weld pipe sections securely using appropriate welding techniques to ensure leak-proof connections Assist with plumbing and pipeline setup for oil & gas or utility projects, adhering to safety standards and project specifications Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks in a construction environment Strong knowledge of pipeline installation processes within utility or oil & gas sectors Familiarity with blueprint reading, construction site safety protocols, and utility locating methods Hands-on experience with concrete finishing, concrete forming, welding, and pipe laser alignment tools Prior work on construction sites involving plumbing systems or pipeline projects is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in outdoor environments under various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Join us if you're ready to bring your heavy equipment skills and construction expertise into an energetic environment focused on building vital infrastructure!

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
