Full Job Description Job Purpose:

Responsible for assisting drivers with any delivery issues communicating via 2-way radio or telephone. In addition, handling of customer service communications.

Reports To:

Terminal Manager Essential Job Functions:

Assisting Dispatchers with driver issues. Manage paperwork and scan bills and Bill of Ladings. Communicating with customers to resolve issues with deliveries Connect with drivers utilizing a 2-way radio to resolve issues coordinating with other dispatch personnel. Check in drivers upon the return to the terminal at the end of the day, Assist with data entry Inform drivers of the trailer number to acquire at the terminal. All other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Must be able to sit for long periods of time Must be able to use a keyboard and computer

Qualifications:

Must be detailed oriented Ability to manage multiple tasks Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills Microsoft Excel experience preferred, AS400 experience a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
