Job Summary:

Integrated Piping Solutions is seeking a motivated Pipe Fitting Technician to join our growing team in Lancaster, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone graduating from trade school or with early hands-on mechanical experience who is eager to build a career in industrial and commercial piping systems. The Pipe Fitting Technician will assist in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping systems for commercial and industrial clients. This role involves working both in the shop and on-site, collaborating with project leads and clients to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient installation of piping within larger mechanical systems. The ideal candidate values safety, quality workmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Principal Responsibilities:

Assist with fabrication, preparation, and installation of piping systems and components Measure, cut, thread, bevel, and assemble piping using appropriate tools and equipment Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and work orders Support installation of piping into larger mechanical systems at client sites Work with supervisors and clients to ensure accurate placement and system integration Operate shop equipment such as saws, grinders, drills, threaders, and other fabrication tools Apply adhesives, sealants, and joining methods appropriate to piping materials Inspect materials and completed work for quality and accuracy Maintain clean and organized job sites and shop areas Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures and properly use PPE Document work performed and assist with job tracking and reporting Perform additional duties as assigned to support project completion

Skills & Qualifications:

Trade school training in pipefitting, plumbing, mechanical systems, welding, or related field preferred Welding or fabrication experience Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic math (fractions, angles, measurements) Ability to read simple drawings or blueprints Strong attention to detail and safety Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Nice to Have (not required): Experience with PVC, CPVC, steel, copper, or other piping systems Construction or industrial shop experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working in shop and field environments Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience and training) Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Career growth and advancement opportunities On-the-job training and skill development About Integrated Piping Solutions Integrated Piping Solutions is a Lancaster-based company focused on high-quality fabrication and installation of piping systems for commercial and industrial applications.
