Job Description

Job Summary The Hardscape Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing hardscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring all installations are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on hardscaping expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. As a key member of the team, the Hardscape Foreman will lead and supervise crews, maintain a safe and organized job site, and communicate effectively with clients and project managers. In addition to hardscape installations, this position will also assist with and perform landscape maintenance projects as needed.
Responsibilities Supervise and Lead Crews:
Manage and lead a team of hardscaping laborers, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
Project Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of hardscaping projects, including material management, equipment usage, and coordination of subcontractors, ensuring deadlines are met.
Quality Control:
Monitor the quality of work, ensuring that all installations meet the company's high standards and industry best practices.
Safety Management:
Ensure that all crew members adhere to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on job sites, providing updates and addressing any concerns or questions that arise.
Problem-Solving:
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the course of a project, whether related to design, materials, or labor.
Training and Mentorship:
Provide training and mentorship to new and existing crew members, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that tools and equipment are well-maintained and report any malfunctions or need for repairs to management.
Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hardscaping, with management experience preferred. Proven experience in installing paver patios, retaining walls, walkways, and other hardscape elements.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of hardscaping materials, tools, and techniques. Familiarity with various materials, such as pavers, natural stone, concrete, and retaining wall systems.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to motivate, guide, and train crew members while maintaining a positive work environment.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions, lift heavy materials, and work on your feet for extended periods. Attention to

Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and management.
Valid Driver's License:
Must have a clean driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles and equipment as needed.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
Experience with landscaping readings, designs, installation. OSHA certification or other safety-related certifications. Familiarity with operating and maintaining heavy machinery (e.g., skid steers, mini-excavators). Why Join Us?
