In this vital role, you will lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex piping systems across commercial and industrial projects. Your extensive knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, boiler operations, and pipe fitting will ensure that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced construction or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Lead the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems for boilers, HVAC units, and plumbing infrastructure using various welding techniques such as MIG, FCAW, and TIG. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute pipe layouts and system configurations. Perform pipe threading, soldering, tube bending, and rigging tasks with precision to ensure secure connections and optimal system performance. Conduct welding operations adhering to ASME codes & standards while utilizing hand tools, power tools, calipers, and schematics for accurate fabrication. Install fire sprinkler systems and pipeline components following safety protocols and industry regulations. Troubleshoot mechanical issues within piping systems or HVAC units; perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards. Requirements Proven experience as a master pipe fitter with extensive knowledge of boiler systems and air conditioning installations. Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, soldering, and welding techniques. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, pipe threading, tube bending, rigging, and mechanical principles related to plumbing and HVAC systems. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards governing piping fabrication and installation practices. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other precision measurement devices effectively. Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities with a focus on pipeline assembly and maintenance. Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting procedures and HVAC system components is highly desirable. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe layout; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
