Pay:
$35.00 - $55.00/hour Plus Prevailing Wage up to $100+/hour
Hours:
7:00am - 3:30pm M-F J2 Pipefitter or greater license required including J1 Pipefitter or M2 pipefitter or M1 pipefitter Commercial / Industrial Pipefitter Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial/Industrial Pipefitter to join our growing team. This individual will install, repair, modify, and maintain piping systems in commercial and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, fabricating pipe, and working on large mechanical systems while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and repair commercial and industrial piping systems. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and mechanical plans. Measure, cut, thread, groove, bevel, and fit carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, CPVC, and other piping materials. Install hydronic heating and cooling systems, chilled water, steam, condensate, domestic water, compressed air, natural gas, and process piping. Perform pipe layout and fabrication using hand tools and power equipment. Install valves, pumps, boilers, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, and other mechanical equipment. Work alongside welders, HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to complete projects efficiently. Troubleshoot piping issues and perform repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety standards. Complete projects on schedule while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Qualifications 3+ years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experience preferred. Pipefitter license preferred where applicable. Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings. Experience with threaded, grooved, soldered, brazed, and welded piping systems. Familiarity with hydronic, steam, chilled water, compressed air, and gas piping systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Pay:
$35.00 - $85.00 per hour
