Structural Welder 1st/2nd shift available $20-28hr Job Description Join our team at a dynamic steel fabrication facility, where you will utilize your skills in structural steel fitting and flux core welding. As a Welder/fitter, you will be expected to have proficiency in reading tape measures to the 1/16th of an inch and demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Your role will include welding on structural steel. Responsibilities Perform structural steel fitting duties. Execute flux core welding tasks. Read and interpret tape measures accurately to the 1/16th of an inch. Lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. Essential Skills Fabrication Blueprint reading Welding (flux core) Fitting and structural steel work Proficiency with hand tools and tape measures Experience with stainless steel, sheet metal, and carbon steel Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with pulse mig and aluminum welding Mechanical and construction knowledge AWS certification is a plus Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
