The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and experience with industrial or commercial piping systems. Our company specializes in boiler and boiler-related equipment sales, service, and repair, with offices in Georgia and Tennessee. Below is a list of the duties, responsibilities, and required qualifications necessary to be considered for employment. Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools Install and assemble piping systems, valves, fittings, and fixtures Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and proper operation Repair and maintain existing piping systems and equipment Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes Collaborate with welders, boilermakers, and other trades on job sites Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of relevant experience Valid driver's license required Proven experience as a pipefitter in industrial, commercial, or construction settings Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong knowledge of piping materials, tools, and installation techniques Basic math and measurement skills Attention to detail Mechanical aptitude Time management skills and reliability Physical & Personal Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs from floor to waist and from waist to overhead Ability to climb and use ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts Ability to stand for 6+ hours per day Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold) Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule Ability to successfully pass a drug test and background check Efficient, organized, and willing to adapt to change Ability to self-direct with reliable attendance Strong communication and customer service skills Problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude Application Process As the first stage of the application process, all interested applicants must submit a formal resume via the link provided.
