In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry codes. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of complex piping installations, including HVAC, plumbing and mechanical piping. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and foster professional growth. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems. Perform pipe threading, cutting, bending, soldering, and welding (including MIG, FCAW, TIG and stick welding) to connect pipes according to specifications. Install mechanical piping, plumbing lines, and pipeline networks in accordance with ASME codes & standards. HVAC technicians Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and rigging equipment to manipulate pipes and components precisely. Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems while adhering to safety protocols. Measure and mark pipe lengths using basic math skills; ensure proper alignment using schematics and mechanical knowledge. Operate tube benders, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Experience Proven 5 years of verifiable experience as a pipefitter in construction or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of pipe installation techniques. Skilled in MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), GTAW welding, soldering, and SMAW welding processes. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical drawings essential for precise assembly. Knowledge of HVAC systems, fire sprinkler fitting, plumbing installation, pipeline setup, and tube bending procedures. Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing plants with a focus on safety standards and OSHA regulations. Ability to use hand tools such as calipers and power tools efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Basic math skills for measurements; understanding of ASME codes & standards for piping systems is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with rigging skills necessary for lifting and positioning heavy components accurately.
