Job Description

Position Overview:
Responsible for cutting, bending and completing stainless steel tubing runs.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
Cuts, bends, and completes stainless steel tubing runs to Engineering specifications Installs threaded piping to Engineering specifications Support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible Adhere to company policy, procedures, and rules Adhere to safety requirements by wearing appropriate protective gear Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirements Need minimal instructions of pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment Ability to read isometric pipe drawings Ability to read and use a tape measure in US units (not metric) Ability to read and use a level Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Competency Test:
Get a piece of tubing and perform a 90, 45, and 22 degree bend and properly tighten tubing fittings.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents Working Conditions Subject to outdoor and plant environment with adjusting temperatures and climate
Upon Employment:
Complete a Safety overview from the EHS & Facilities Manager Complete a Quality overview from the Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Manager
