Job Description
The Heavy Equipment Foreman will oversee and manage civil equipment crews. Qualification Highlights Must have 4+ years' experience as a dirt operator, and 2+ years in a supervisory position. Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below). Must be able to meet all physical requirements. Must have reliable transportation. Required Qualifications Leadership Abilities Ability to manage multiple crews. Ability to plan out the workload for multiple crews and multiple processes. Ability to perform all job duties of craft trade. Ability to read and understand IFC drawings. Understand when to stop production work and when an RFI needs to be initiated. Read and understand craft specs and cut sheets, craft spec procedures, and recommendations Plan work and execute Ability to take drawings, required material, line out helpers and execute work Equipment Knowledge - Basic maintenance (inspections) and Safe operations practices Ability to find footage, utilize addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions to perform all craft duties. Preferred Additional Qualification Current Zachry/JV employee Zachry/JV ROF'ed employee. Former experience working with Zachry Industrial/JVIC. Experience working industrial construction projects.
