Backhoe Operator

Overview Operates a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with a Backhoe used to load structures and dirt from excavations, loading trucks, pipe, and precast concrete structures.

Responsibilities Loading and unloading materials Shoveling dirt, gravel, and asphalt General clean up around job site Maintenance of all equipment and tools Maintain a professional appearance. Knowledgeable about and follow the company's safety policies and procedures as described in the company's safety manual. Qualifications 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions such as rain, snow, heat, etc.
