Glo Resources is currently hiring Pipe Layers to work at a construction site in Houston, TX. The pay rate is between $18 and $20 per hour, depending on experience. Workdays are Monday - Friday, starting at 6:00 AM, working 8-9 hours per day with overtime available at times. Average 45

HRS/week Responsibilities and Duties:

Setting water pumps Running PVC pipes above ground Cut pipes to required length Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing or joining Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers Connect pipe pieces and seal joints by either bolting, cement, or glue Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools Other general labor and construction duties as required

Qualifications:

1-2 years' experience in construction 1 year of experience with pipe laying techniques Willing to submit to a drug screen Must be mechanically inclined Must have reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
