Job Description
Offshore Pipefitters (Offshore Opportunities) Sugar Land, TX 77478 Apply Apply Description Mako Industries is currently seeking experienced Pipefitters for offshore projects. Candidates must have strong experience in pipe fabrication, layout, installation, and assembly in offshore oil & gas environments. The ideal candidate will be able to work safely and efficiently while meeting project schedules and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings Measure, cut, bevel, fit, and assemble pipe systems Install carbon steel, stainless steel, and process piping systems Perform pipe alignment and fit-up for welding crews Work with valves, flanges, supports, and related piping components Ensure all work meets project specifications and offshore safety requirements Assist with hydro testing, line checks, and system preparation Work closely with welders, riggers, and offshore construction teams Maintain clean and safe work areas offshore Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of pipefitting experience Offshore experience preferred Strong knowledge of pipe fabrication and installation Ability to read and interpret ISO drawings and spool sheets Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems Valid passport required Must be able to travel offshore and work rotational schedules TWIC card and offshore safety certifications are a plus Must pass drug screening and safety requirements Experience in offshore oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industries Knowledge of offshore piping standards and procedures Familiarity with hydro testing and mechanical completion BOSIET, HUET, or additional offshore certifications preferred Competitive offshore pay Overtime opportunities Travel and lodging assistance Long-term project opportunities Benefits available based on assignment
