Position Summary BBTECH America is seeking skilled pipefitters to support cleanroom and sub-fab construction activities for advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for precise installation, fit-up, and support of high-purity and industrial piping systems while maintaining strict cleanliness, safety, and quality standards required in a cleanroom environment. Pipefitters will work closely with foremen, welders, QA/QC, and safety personnel to ensure piping systems are installed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Install, align, and secure piping systems within cleanroom and sub-fab environments, including stainless steel and specialty process piping Perform accurate pipe layout using drawings, field measurements, and established benchmarks Prepare piping components through cutting, beveling, cleaning, and staging to support high-quality weld fit-up Assist welders by ensuring proper joint alignment, spacing, and cleanliness prior to welding activities Install pipe supports, hangers, brackets, and related hardware in accordance with design drawings and load requirements Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, spool drawings, and installation details Support system pressure testing, flushing, and mechanical completion activities as required Handle materials in accordance with cleanroom protocols to prevent contamination Maintain orderly, organized, and clean work areas that meet cleanroom and site standards Coordinate work activities with other trades to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth workflow Follow all BBTECH America, client, and site-specific safety rules, including PPE and cleanroom gowning requirements Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and permit-controlled work processes Required Qualifications Authorized to work in the United States Minimum 1-2 years of experience in pipefitting within industrial, commercial, or semiconductor environments Ability to read and understand piping drawings, isometrics, and basic P&IDs Proficient with standard pipefitting tools and equipment (pipe stands, levels, grinders, hand tools, measuring tools) Familiarity with stainless steel piping installation and fit-up practices Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening OSHA 10 certification required (or ability to obtain prior to start) Preferred Qualifications Experience working in semiconductor cleanrooms or high-purity process environments Familiarity with orbital welding support and cleanroom-compatible materials Experience with PVDF, polypropylene, or other non-metallic process piping NCCER, UA, or equivalent pipefitting certification Ability to work extended hours or weekends to support tool installation milestones Work Requirements and Physical Requirements Work is performed in active cleanrooms, sub-fabs, and construction areas Frequent use of cleanroom PPE, including bunny suits, gloves, and face coverings Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and work in confined or elevated spaces Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance Exposure to construction-related noise, equipment, and variable site conditions
