Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Single-Hand Welder to join our dynamic construction and fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welding tasks across various projects, including pipefitting, and structural fabrication. Experience welding on pressure vessels is a strong plus. Your expertise will ensure the integrity, safety, and durability of all welded components in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills to contribute to critical infrastructure projects. Duties Must be able to successfully pass a 6G Monster qualification test FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to join metal components with precision and safety. Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide fabrication and installation processes. Conduct pipe threading, pipe welding, soldering, and pipefitting tasks for various piping systems. Use hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembling metal parts on construction sites. Fabricate custom metal components and assist with the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. Follow strict safety protocols related to welding operations to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and safety compliance as required by project guidelines. Experience Proven experience in welding within a industrial environment, with a strong focus on pipe welding and fabrication projects. Proficiency in passing 6G Monster test using FCAW processes, as well as welding techniques. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, technical drawings effectively. Knowledge of mechanical principles related to pipe installation, pipe threading, soldering, and pipefitting. Hands-on experience with power tools such as grinders, drills, saws, and specialized welding equipment while adhering to power tool safety practices. Pay:
$25.01 - $30.12 per hour
