Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Natural Gas Pipefitter to install, repair, and maintain natural gas piping systems in compliance with Utah codes and safety standards. This role requires basic pipe threading skills, blueprint reading, and hands-on experience working in construction or industrial environments. The Pipefitter will ensure all systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Our normal operating hours are Monday-Friday, approximately 8 hours per day. We are a family-owned business that has specialized in the Southern Utah area for the last 25 years. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn along the way. Key Responsibilities Install, assemble, and repair natural gas piping systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe accurately Operate hand tools, power tools, and pipe fabrication equipment Perform rigging to safely position and install piping components Troubleshoot piping system issues and assist with maintenance Follow all jobsite safety procedures and regulations Work collaboratively as a team member to meet project schedules and quality expectations Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a pipefitter, preferably with natural gas systems Proficiency with basic power tools (ex. drills, saws, nail guns) Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills Experience with fire sprinkler, plumbing, or HVAC systems Ability to maintain proper inventory Solid understanding of construction site safety practices Basic math skills for layout and measurements
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
