Competitive salary based on experience + benefits Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Mechanic / Pipefitter to oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of piping systems and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, extensive hands-on experience, and the ability to direct crews while ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise pipefitting and mechanical crews on job sites Install, repair, and maintain piping systems including industrial, commercial, and mechanical systems Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings Coordinate workflow, materials, and equipment needs Troubleshoot mechanical and piping issues efficiently Ensure work meets company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements Perform inspections and preventative maintenance Train and mentor team members Maintain accurate job documentation and reports Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and customers Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of pipefitting/mechanical experience Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred Strong knowledge of piping systems, mechanical equipment, and hand/power tools Ability to read blueprints and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license required OSHA certification or additional trade certifications preferred Benefits Competitive pay Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan / 401(k) Overtime opportunities Career advancement opportunit
