Basic Job Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee fire sprinkler installation field labor teams. Lead large jobs with multiple crews. Install and test fire suppression equipment in new or retro-fit construction projects. Execute fire sprinkler design plans and communicates needed design change to fit actual site requirements. Note and document change orders. Function as BFPE representative on job site. Work closely with owner and/or general contractor's representatives, other trades, BFPE field superintendent and staff. Manage materials delivered to site and for minor fabrication on job site. Use hand tools, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic power tools. Attend weekly General Contractor progress meetings, as needed. Conduct weekly tool box safety meetings. Must have knowledge of pipefitting and fire protection codes. Commitment and responsibility to lead team and achieve personal and team work goals in a timely and safe manner. First Aid certification a plus. Proven leadership experience, including ability to communicate, address personnel issues, and make fair decisions related to project demands, customer service, and employee assignments. Basic Job Responsibilities:

Complete the lay out, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of fixed fire protection systems, in accordance with manufacturer instructions, related codes/standards, and Company policies/procedures. Interpret blueprints and/or working drawings in order to properly install, repair, and maintain systems. Cut, thread, and groove pipe using proper tools and machines. Join and secure pipe using proper standards and techniques. Ensure that job sites are left clean and neat. Verify and/or select the proper materials for a specific job according to job specifications. Track and communicate material needs in a timely manner. Plan sequence of installation or repair to ensure that customer's activities are not obstructed or adversely affected. Identify changes to proposed work and communicate changes with Foreman.
