How you will contribute:
Duties of this position would primarily be material handling, machine operation, and threading piping for fire protection systems. Additional duties could include providing overall support by banding and bundling pipe, working with a crane and cart system to move pipe throughout the shop, shop sweeping, and equipment cleanup. This is a full-time first shift position, typically working four 10-hour days M-TH, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed.
What you need to qualify:
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and must meet the required norms on an aptitude test. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and crouch throughout an 8-hour shift. Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work in a team environment. You can stand out above other candidates by having a positive attitude, possessing excellent problem-solving skills, and being able to perform duties safely and effectively in a fast-paced work environment that will be loud at times. Safety regulations must be followed at all times, including the use of hearing, hand, knee, and foot safety equipment.
