Job Description
We have immediate openings for Field Technicians to service equipment at Fuel and Service Stations across Northern California in the Bay Area and the Sacramento area. These are long term, full time roles. Pay range will be based upon your skills, experience and certifications in the industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fuel dispensers, pumps, and related equipment Conduct regular inspections of fuel station equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fuel dispensing systems Install new fuel dispensers and associated hardware Calibrate fuel metering devices for accuracy Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner Clean and maintain fuel dispensing equipment Update and maintain accurate service records and documentation Communicate effectively with customers and team members Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations Perform basic electrical and mechanical repairs Assist in inventory management of parts and supplies Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians Stay updated on new technologies and industry standards Participate in ongoing training and professional developmentSkills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred 2+ years of experience in fuel station maintenance or related field Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report writing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations Attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Certification that are helpful - ICC, Gilbarco, FFS, FSC, Wayne and Franklin.Benefits:
